Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea At The Langham London

London Fashion Week attendees are ideally placed to try out the new and exclusive afternoon tea at the luxury hotel, The Langham, London. The hotel has collaborated with renowned British jewellery designer Stephen Webster who, together with The Langham’s Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden, has created the Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea.

The limited edition Stephen Webster Bijoux Tea has been inspired by Stephen’s most recent jewellery collection ‘Murder She Wrote’. The ‘Murder She Wrote’ collection uses diamonds and colourful stones to create dramatic, statement pieces. Intricate cakes and sweet patisseries have been created to reflect Webster’s eclectic designs.

As the ultimate treat for a fashionista, the Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea celebrates both British fashion and traditional afternoon tea with transgressive design and literary heritage. The edible masterpieces substitute sparkling diamonds for shimmering icing and dense gold for light cake within the decadent setting of the elegant Palm Court.

Accompanied by luxury savoury sandwiches and indulgent chocolate scones, the tea will feature unique creations based on Webster designs, including the Crystal Clear Diamond, a lightly perfumed Guinness macaroon with blackcurrant jelly, the Poison Apple, a red peppercorn and dark chocolate shortbread, and a roasted green pistachio Chantilly with airy meringue sponge inspired by Stephen Webster’s Armadillo ring. The Langham’s extensive range of teas which include classics as well as the hotel’s own blends serve as the perfect accompaniment to the Bijoux Tea Delicacies

How exquisite do these look!
The Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea at The Langham is priced at £49 per person, and is available from 1st September 2011.

  3. I booked this for the 1st of December when my mum is visiting. Can't wait! But do you only get one cake of each to share between 2 people?
The cakes look gorgeous but not very easy to cut in half.

  4. Hi Anon, I have not actually had this particular tea however whenever I have been to an afternoon you get a set of cakes each, so no need to cut any in half :-)
You could always call them to put your mind at rest.
